SHRIMP FOR NEW YEAR'S EVE OR DAY
Christmas time and New Year's is a time that the grocery stores around here stock up on seafood. Frequently their sale price is allows for a seafood feast. If you are going to have shrimp for New Year's Eve or Day, please give my Mom's recipe a try. I have never found a better way to cook shell-on raw shrimp. The broth made for cooking the shrimp does not add any extra flavor to the shrimp, it just intensifies the wonderful flavor of the shrimp. I love this recipe from my Mom and it has so many happy memories attached to it.
