Yesterday I was privileged to spend the day with my Grandson Bradley's future in-laws. The day started with a wonderful Christmas play at Leffring's church. The play had a wonderful message about the importance of father's in a child life. Our beloved Grandpa Tom, who never had children of his own, learned his importance as a Dad and a Grandpa from the example of Joseph. Children, who don't have a loving father growing up, search for that love and approval the rest of their lives. Jera directed the play and Bradley played a German immigrant who is a music director. There was lots of laughter, tears, and a fire! Dinner followed the play and was, of course, delicious and the conversation delightful!!
