Hugs. I remember when I was in your place. It was a surreal time, just about standing still. Cam was at home, our living room was converted into a hospital like room with lots of chairs for family and friends. A huge picture window to his left where birds came to visit. His final hours were peacefully passed with family all around, unable to stop what was happening. You have very busy driving back and forth and staying strong. He is so fortunate to have had you in his life and to help him pass lovingly into Jesus arms. More hugs.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write me. Tom was so hopeful starting new chemo. Had a lovely day on Wednesday and then he collapsed in the kitchen Thursday morning. Sent him by ambulance to Grand Rapids. The tumor had grown so much in three weeks that it blocked his left windpipe. Lots of decisions. I stayed with him every minute of the next week. He passed very peacefully the Thursday morning after his collapse. The whole family gathered around him that week and he left knowing how much he was loved. He definitely is in Heaven!!!Thank you for your hugs. Need them!!
I'm sorry about your loss. Wish you and yours all the best.
